Roulette Table Limits

How roulette table limits work: the minimum and maximum bet, why inside and outside limits can differ, and how to choose a table that fits your budget.

What Table Limits Are

A roulette table limit is the smallest and largest amount you can stake in a single round. The minimum stops tiny bets from clogging the table. The maximum caps the casino’s exposure to one spin. Every table sets its own range, and the range can change.

Inside and Outside Limits

Many tables show two sets of limits. Inside bets on numbers usually have a lower minimum and maximum than outside bets on red or black, dozens or columns. The limit also usually applies to the total of a bet type, so several chips on one outside bet can reach the cap.

Where to Find Them

Open the table information panel before you join. It lists the minimum and maximum bet and often the wheel type and rules. We do not publish Rexbet’s limits here, because they are set per table and can change. The panel is the source to trust.

How to Choose a Table

  • Decide your session budget first, then divide it by the number of rounds you want to play.
  • Pick a table whose minimum is a small fraction of that budget, so you can place several bets.
  • Check that the maximum is high enough for the bet size you plan, so you are not capped mid-session.
  • Compare wheels as well as limits, since a double-zero table carries a 5.26% house edge against 2.70% on a single-zero wheel.

Limits and Betting Systems

Limits are the reason doubling systems fail. A string of losses can push your next required stake beyond the maximum, and by then the stakes have grown large. The limits do not change the house edge, but they make long progressions impossible.

Limits and Responsible Play

A low-limit table can still empty a bankroll if you play fast, because live rounds come every minute or so. Set a deposit limit and a time limit before you join, whatever the table limits are. Rexbet is an offshore operator, not regulated by a Canadian province, and players must be 19 or older (18 or older in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec).
